What begins with the learning of a craft gradually becomes a path of personal development, where the hand serves as a bridge between technique and inner growth.
The Craft
At the heart of this journey lies the transmission of tambour beading, also known as Lunéville embroidery.
Originating in France and closely associated with the world of haute couture, this technique uses a fine hook to apply beads, sequins, and decorative elements onto fabric.
Its mastery relies on precision, rhythm, and control of gesture; qualities developed through practice and repetition.
Within Manushya, this heritage forms the foundation upon which the journey unfolds.
The Path
This journey unfolds across seven levels, each opening a new way of engaging with the act of creating.
From the first encounter with the material to a more embodied and personal language, each stage deepens perception and refines the relationship between hand, rhythm, and intention.
The full path is currently being developed and will be revealed over time.
The Threshold
Every journey begins with a threshold.
"The Embroidered Rose" and "The Radiant Heart" are the first gateways into this path; two initiations that introduce the foundations of Lunéville embroidery through different symbols, rhythms, and creative experiences.
Both lead toward the same destination.

"The Embroidered Rose" & "The Radiant heart" Initiations are currently offered as an in-person experience in collaboration with the Royal School of Needlework.
The 7 levels journey will be developed and offered directly through Manushya.
